Cheshire Lanes Populaire

A pleasant excursion on Cheshire lanes. The event starts in the village of Duddon, from here we head to Waverton and then to Aldford. Continuing to head south we pass through Stretton and then get to Tilston with the preferred option to stop and have tea and cake at The Lost Barn Coffee shop. Suitably refueled for the hillier return leg we pick up the Tour of the Berwyns route back to base. There are a few lumps to get over in the second half so don't feel guilty about having lots of cake! Just take each uphill at your own pace and soon you will be zooming down the other side, taking your time to enjoy some pretty fine Cheshire lanes with close up views of Beeston Castle and making your way back to Duddon Note 1: As marked on the map, please take care crossing the busy A41 before Duckington Note 2.
