Thanet Platinum

The Permanent version of the Thanet Platinum 200 Calendar Event, starting in the coastal town of Herne Bay, with controls at Hawkhurst, Pevensey Services, Rye and Brabourne Lees. Starting in the coastal town of Herne Bay, the route takes you through the countryside of Kent and East Sussex, sticking mainly to rolling country roads and scenic lanes, with a few short sections of main road where they can’t be avoided. The terrain is varied, from flat coastal sections to challenging climbs. Further information about the ride is included with the routesheet (download from link below).
