Prestwich-Bentham-Prestwich

From Prestwich via Simister, Heywood and skirting Rochdale to Bacup. Then to Padiham , narrowly avoiding Burnley, before turning for Roughlee followed by a climb of Pendle Hill and a great descent via Downhan to enter the Forest of Bowland. No big Bowland climbs though as the route goes to Settle then via Keasden to Bentham at 102km. Sedate (ish) roads continue to Galgate via Wray and Caton, then to Longridge which is the last control. Save some legs though for the climb via Tockholes and a return via Radcliffe to Prestwich. 3xAAA means this is not a perm to be undertaken lighlty so please consider the weather and amount of avialable daylight.
