A fantastic day journey through North Wales, passing through some less visited areas with considerable climbing. Best suited to experienced randonneurs due to several remote sections with arduous hilly sections with some fast descents, limited cafes / shops and few public transport options in case of difficulties. Note 1 as well as considerable climbing there are some steep and fast descents, the fastest would from the top of The Bwlch y Groes (107km) but there are others so please study the route carefully. Note 2 There are limited cafe / shop options with some very sparsely populated sections, you need to work out where you plan to stop and ensure the cafe / shops you intend to visit are open when you are likely to arrive at them.
