Echo Dell

Just past the hard edge of the urban growth boundary, beyond busy suburban Oregon City sprawl lies an improbable gem, a peaceful hollow described on some maps as Echo Dell. Enjoy rolling hills and country roads through Boring, Estacada and Redland before dropping steep hairpin curves into the hollow, followed by a pleasant climb out past a mossy boulder creek and farms that feel like something from another century. Skirt a slice of OC sprawl before joining up with the Trolley Trail for the return to Sellwood.
