Ledbury 300km

A wonderful vista packed ride from Nantwich, passing through Much Wenlock, Bewdley, Ledbury, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. An extended version of the Wenlock Edge 200km that heads due south after Much Wenlock and takes you to the town of Ledbury just outside the Malvern Hills. From Ledbury you have to ride back through to Ludlow to get yourself back on the Wenlock Edge 200km route from Wetnor, meaning that you have a 30km uphill section which leads to a 15km descent to Shrewsbury then a final flat 50km to Nantwich. NOTE 1: There are several fast descents throughout the route, additional care should be taken on the fast descent into Coalport with a sharp right hand bend near the bottom and the long, fast from Pulverbatch to Hook-a-Gate NOTE 2: The route uses a road that crosses Ludlow racecourse to keep you off the A49 , you need to check the Ludlow Racecourse race schedule to ensure you can get through on your chosen day, as the route is advisory you can adapt the route around this section as you see fit.
