110 km ride between Launceston (Lonnie) and Devonport, linking the Spirit of Tasmania ferry to Launceston. From Launceston there are several Permanent rides down to Hobart, from 220 km BA Perms to 400 km and 600 km Touring Raids. Using combinations of these, or the 588 km off-road Tasmanian Trail Touring Raid, it is possible to construct a number of 1000+ km touring circuits of Tasmania, also known as Paradise Downunder. This A ride is on generally quiet roads linking some lovely small country towns. The route from Latrobe to Devonport is along bike paths and lanes. The ride can be done in either direction.
