Kelvedon Oyster

This permanent event can be validated by GPS. This is an option selectable by you during entry. This means that you would submit a ridden tracklog in place of paper proofs of passage. Controls at Pebmarsh, Rowhedge, West Mersea, Tollesbury and Heybridge. The ride mixes country lanes and visits to the seaside. Don't forget to slurp an oyster as you pass through West Mersea. The calendar version is the January event of ACME's 100k Winter Brevet Series. The ride starts from Kelvedon which is on the main London to Norwich line but riders may use any other control as their starting point. There are plenty of eating options in Rowhedge, West Mersea and Heybridge. A GPX is available.
