Calais - Brindisi

A permanent ride based on the original Raid Calais-Brindisi created by Jean REY in 1953. It traces the route taken by 'La Malle des Indes', the train that carried the diplomatic bag across Europe en route to India. Entries must be submitted at least ONE month before the starting date. Randonneur - 13 days, Tourist - 26 days in 1,2 or 3 stages. List of 25 controls and advisory route sheet available from organiser on request. Alternative option of bypassing Paris.
