Ups and Downs of Skyline

Bring your climbing legs ! This is a very challenging ride. It is very similar to #2581 Corralitos Castle, but goes up to Skyline via Hwy 9 instead of Page Mill. As a result, it avoids the stretch of Skyline between these two roads, super dangerous with heavy and fast motorbike traffic. The main loop - the meat of the ride - is the same as #2581. The climb up Hwy 9 is no walk in the park, and a bit later you have to tackle Jamison Creek, which is super steep. On the way back from Corralitos, the climbs start with Eureka Canyon, followed a bit later with Skyline's climb to Castle Rock. The ride ends with a flat loop in town to bring mileage to 200km.
