Snowies Super Randonnee

The Snowies is a 603km loop that starts and ends in Cooma, NSW. The ride crosses the Monaro plains through Dalgety to the gateway to the ski resorts at Jindabyne. Here the climbing really starts with Guthega, Charlotte Pass, then Thredbo Alpine Village, crossing the range at Dead Horse Gap entering into Victoria via Corryong, then Walwa. Riders then cross the Murrary River back into NSW at Jingellic. Climbing resumes, up to Tumbarumba, and takes the winding mountain road up to Cabramurra, the highest town in Australia.The route back to Cooma is via Adaminaby on the shores of Lake Eucumbene.Check for road closures due to Snowy Hydro 2.0 construction works!
