Red Dirt and Dust

Starting in Pinjarra, a cruise along the foothill plains taking in a few gravel sections to get you warmed up for later on. After a quick stop at the bakery in Waroona continue along the flatlands into Harvey. Be sure to have sufficient food and water as it is 80kms before the control in Dwellingup. Climbing up towards Harvey dam enjoy the scenery before the proper gravel section begins. Heading through the quiet forrest road in Lane Pool Reserve towards Nanga Brook. Restock in Dwellingup then head down Del Park Rd. Turn left onto Scarp Rd where the second main gravel section begins. Follow this all the way to the picturesque Scarp Pool. Retrace your steps with a short hop back into Pinjarra. 88km of gravel roads. Wider tires reccommended. Gravel surface mostly consists of hardpack base with loose gravel and dirt on top.
