Concrete & Steel

The route starts at the Washington Monument in Baltimore. You leave Baltimore heading west passing through Sykesville before reaching Union Bridge, home to a large concrete plant. From there the route heads east passing a wonderful bike and coffee shop in Butler MD and logging a couple of miles on the Torrey C. Brown / NCR Rail Trail. The eastern most point is the Bottom Rd Steel Bridge which crosses over the Little Gunpowder River. From there you make your way back to Baltimore’s Washington Monument.
