A pleasant, straight forward ride in Cheshire and Shropshire countryside to the interesting ruin of Shrawardine Castle on the Severn Plain and back. Controls at Baschurch (Moor Farm Shop and Cafe), Shrawardine castle ruins and Wem (Petrol Station, Co-op slightly off route, cafes, shops etc). NOTE: Please be aware the route around Shrawardine and Montford Bridge is on the River Severn Flood Plain so you should check that there is no flooding in the area before setting off. Validation by GPS or E-Brevet only. E-Brevet allows you to pick the route up at any point.
