On September 11 1921 the Audax Club Parisien held its first free-pace brevet: Paris-Dreux-Chartres-Paris. Twenty-six riders successfully completed the 200km loop.To celebrate the 100th anniversary of randonneuring, Audax clubs across Australia and around the world will be riding 200km brevets. This is the route ridden in Perth for the Celebration. 18 Riders completed the brevet successfully with fine weather and fair winds. Leaving from Guilford you ride south riding along the edge of the foothills staying on the plains meandering your way to Mundijong for your first coffee break. From there you wind your way to the Mandurah PSP via Serpentine .once on the PSP you head back to the city stopping for your second break @ the Baldis BP. on arriving in the city you ride around the river in south Perth past burswood. After leaving the city you make your way north east on Midland PSP Beware of the road works and path diversions as you head north on Tonkin PSP @ Reid hwy you turn east following the new PSP to West Swan road where you turn south skirting the edge of the Swan valley back the the finish for a well deserved burger and chips @ the famous Alfreds cafe .
