Early start recommended to push thru Hwy 25 with minimal traffic. Plunge into the SC Upstate down Gap Creek Rd to access country road after country road. Be sure to refuel at Tandem Creperie. And enjoy the lake views before the slog back up the Old Saluda Grade to the finish.
