A Francophile's delight... Ride from the Channel to the Med in six 200km stages. Overnight stops are in attractive towns and villages: Vitre, Parthenay, St Yrieix-la-Perche, Carennac, and Castres. Scenic highlights include the Upper Charente, the Dordogne, the Montagne Noire, and the Gorge de Galamus. Good train services back from Perpignan (but the sleeper is no more, chiz).
