Pengwern Permanents - Severn & Wye

eBREVET / GPS VALIDATION ONLY. From the Severn to the Wye through the rolling countryside of Shropshire & Herefordshire with only one serious climb. Outward route across Wenlock Edge then through Corvedale to Ludlow's imposing castle. The second leg takes you through Herefordshire's black and white villages to cross the River Wye at the Witney toll bridge for lunch in Hay. Return across the Wye to skirt the Welsh border through Brilley, Kington and Presteigne to Leintwardine. The last stage skirts the Long Mynd through Church Stretton and home on the Roman Road to the finish. Controls at Ludlow, Hay-on-Wye, Leintwardine and Wellington (Shropshire). Start/finish at any point and ride in either direction.
